Product Description
Having a regular yoga class at work is one of the most accessible ways to do yoga. Pretty much every obstacle to regular practice is removed:
You don’t have to go anywhere, so it takes less time. If you are doing your class in a meeting room, mm…Yoga! teachers arrive early for class to set the room up, moving furniture out of the way, dimming the lights if that can happen, and playing tinkly music.
You might also have people at work asking whether you are going to class, so it keeps you committed.
It’s cheaper than going to a yoga studio. A block of ten classes costs $1430 (which includes GST) so if you have ten participants dividing the cost, it’s only $14.30 per class – and if there are fifteen, the cost drops to $9.50 per class.
If you are in a bigger organisation, you might even get your yoga bankrolled by work health! More info here.
The classes are at a time that suits you. Because you are ordering your yoga in, you don’t have to work around a studio schedule or availability of just one teacher. So whatever time your group wants, your group gets.
The classes are at the level that suits you. Because your group is specially choosing to do yoga together, you are not showing up to a class that has an established ‘level’ or ‘style’. You will get what you need. And if you aren’t happy, you can ask for something different – it’s a great thing about ordering your yoga in!
If you organise a corporate group, you get a private one-on-one class, just for you, every year in the month of your birthday (or whenever you want). It’s a way to advance your practice and ask the questions you maybe didn’t want to ask in class.
If you are worried about committing to ongoing classes, you could always try a one-off session. It’s $180 (plus GST).
One-off sessions are also great additions to your conference activity schedule, or a fun team building activity. I have a great team of teachers who work with me at mm…Yoga! so we can accommodate any date or time you need. We serve the greater Melbourne area.
Then, there are the ever-popular wellness seminars.
Wellness Seminars
Stress is great, to a point: it helps us get things done.
But when eustress (the good kind) hangs around too long, it just become distress, and that affects everything: the quality of your sleep, your ability to concentrate, your health. This inevitably shows up at work in the form of decreased productivity, more sick leave, more mistakes and inaccuracies, and more conflict.
All round, an undesirable situation.
These one-hour seminars give people tools to help them relax at work, or at home, or even sitting in traffic.
We teach simple stretches to relieve shoulder and neck tension, breathing and awareness techniques, and visualisation/meditation techniques. Participants will receive a take-home guide to the techniques they’ve learned and a downloadable guided relaxation to play on their iPod (because everyone has an iPod, right?).
